FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use other material other than T-Shirts?

Of course!  I can use ANY type of material, except satin.  Jersey material is perfectly fine.  I can use pajamas, shorts, sweatpants, scarves, etc.  As long as it can be cut into a 12" x 12" or 15" x 15" square, it can be sewn into your blanket!

Are your blankets quilted?

No.  These blankets are not quilted.  They are soft, cozy blankets.  This is what I tell my customers: My t-shirt blankets have a layer of fleece on the back so it is soft and cozy.  They are not quilts.  If you order a quilt - you will be paying a lot more money.  I personally do not like quilts because of the feel of the stitching on the blanket, and the "stiffness" of the blanket, but that, of course, is a personal preference.   You are able to use this blanket every day -- just like a regular blanket you use daily.  Quilts, in my opinion, are made for display.  Also, it is a lot harder to care for a quilt.  You cannot put a quilt in the washing machine -- you have to hand wash it with special instructions.  My blankets can be washed in the washing machine.

Are your blankets durable?

Yes, my t-shirt blankets are very durable.  I have washed my kids' blankets a bunch of times and they still look the same.  I "quadruple stitch" all of my blankets.  It would be a lot faster for me to do a single or double stitch, but I would rather have a more durable blanket that will last a lifetime.

Can I use both sides of the t-shirt?

Of course!  Please mark the side you wish to use in the blanket with masking tape. We will use as much of the shirt, pants, etc as we can, unless you specify what you do not want in your blanket.  We try and preserve as many memories as we can!

Can you put 2 t-shirts on 1 square?

Yes.  If the graphics of each side of the t-shirt are under 6" (for 12" squares) and 7" (for 15" squares), we can usually fit 2 graphics on 1 12" or 15" square.

PLEASE WASH YOUR T-SHIRTS IF THEY ARE BRAND NEW.  IF THEY AREN'T PRE-WASHED THEY WILL SHRINK IN YOUR BLANKET AFTER YOU WASH IT
